Relationship building and investing in students is a priority at Kent Covenant. Today's culture throws a lot of challenges at students and parents -- real life pressures, mixed messages and demands all at a light speed pace.
KCC students come together a couple of times a week to connect, grow, play and deal with the hard questions of life. Come get involved!
Sunday AM
Hard Rock Worship
10:30am we kick off with rocking loud music that gets your heart moving and your spirit pumping. It's fun, it's super loud and it's ran by students for students. You'll make friends, likely see someone you might know from your local high school or sport team and fit right in no matter what your "style". Come join with the 40+ students who call "Hard Rock" their home on Sunday mornings.
Sr. High Girl "Early Birds"
A small group at the wee hour of 9am for girls 9-12th grade. They talk about deep stuff like why does God allow bad stuff, boys, parents and how Jesus relates to it all. If you're a girl, this is definately the place for you to come hang out.
Thursday Nights
Senior High guys connect on Thursday nights in small groups. When the weather is good, they kick off with some sort of fun thing like football, basketball or other crazy insane game (video or otherwise) and then dig into what's going on in their lives ... school, parents, girls, God ... with transparency and real conversation. Check it out & get involved.
Student Leadership
If you sing, play an instrument, do technical design (e.g. powerpoint, photoshop, web design), like to speak, love lights and sound systems, you just might love being a part of the Hard Rock Leadership team. See Pastor Jeff to get details.
Pastor Jeff Hunter
Jeff is the Student Ministries dude at Kent Covenant. Recently he talked in "big church" (where the adults go and the music isn't quiet so...loud). He shared some pretty amazing stuff about what it means to be a teen today.
