History helps shape the future.  Explore the lives of dedicated missionaries, gifted coaches and famous Christians to see how their lives made a difference in today's world!  These books are inspirational and will expand your horizons!  Stop by the KCC library on Sunday mornings and see a friendly librarian who will be glad to help you!  This is also a great and interesting resource for those students who have book report requirements.

Castaway Kid

Abandoned by his parents when he was just three years old, Rob Mitchell began his journey as one of the last "lifers" in an American orphanage.  As Rob's loneliness and rage grew, his hope shrank.  Would he ever find a real family or a place to call home?  A mother too absorbed with her own demons of drink and an insecure father, who became physically incapacitated following a failed suicide attempt, was just the beginning of the nightmare experienced by this CASTAWAY KID.
